The Progressive Revelation of God Pt.3
In part three of the series we take a serious look at Genesis 9:18-29. In this passage Noah departs the ark builds a vineyard and falls into sin. His son Ham sees his nakedness and responds in a way that is foretelling of a spiritual darkness similar to what Noah saw in the antediluvian world. Noah prophesies concerning his three sons predicting that Ham's son Canaan would live out the sinful behavior of his father and become a servile people to the blessed line of Shem. Japheth would father the gentile nations and find their blessing through being related to Shem. Soon after the Tower of Babel would be built and Nimrod, the son of Cush and grandson of Ham, would lead a people that exhibit the demonic influences that pull people away from God and have as a mission the destruction God's chosen. To protect His chosen God intervenes and scatters the nations to the four-winds confusing their languages and breaking down all communications between them. The revelation of God's purposes for the redemption of mankind progresses as we see the subtle prediction God gives through through Noah (Gen. 9:25-27) to bring the Gentile nations into the bond of saving faith that eventually through God's Chosen line would bring forth the Messiah Jesus!

The Amazing Progressive Revelation of God – Genesis 12:1-3
In this Sermon we begin to look at the Progression of the Covenantal promises that God made with His chosen and how they will be ultimately filled by Jesus the Messiah. In this message we begin with the Genesis account where the Lord told our first parents to, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." This message gives an overview of how Adam was able to accomplish this task, what happened when sin entered the world, why God accepted Abel's sacrifice over that of his brother Cain, and the subsequent sinfulness that swallows up the world (The days of Noah and the parallel today) and the Great Flood. More sermons will come in this series that will take us from Noah, to Babel, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Joseph's sons and all the way till the MESSIAH!

The Music of Christmas “The Promise” Is. 51:1-8
Luke records what is referred to as the, “The Magnificat” or “Song of Mary” Luke 1:46-55 This message begins with a review of that beautiful song before moving into Isaiah's amazing prophecy for the season! For the moth will eat them up like a garment, And the worm will eat them like wool; But My righteousness will be forever, And My salvation from generation to generation." Isaiah 51:8 (NKJV) In Isaiah’s prophecy –The Music and Melody of Christmas rings out in glorious fashion proclaiming the Lords triumph over evil through the Nativity of Christ In the Nativity: 1)     God shows up on earth to live and breathe as we do. (ultimate Identification and Representation) 2)     It shows us God’s resolve to save mankind from death 3)     It shows us the depth of His love We are made aware of this through the eyes of the Holy Spirit; but so many still choose to ignore Him and live in darkness – living for the day or existentialism Even during this most-holiest of seasons, the Christmas season,
    • The enemy has prepared his offenses
    • He has established his beachheads.
    • He has stood up his battalions.
Yet the Cross of Christ still stands as solidly now as it did 2000 years ago.

What Christians Are Thankful For – Rom 5:12-21
In the Rom 5:1-11 the Apostle does an excellent job of teaching that all believers have been justified in the sight of God by the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the Crucifixion of Jesus, God made perfect the provision to replace the enmity we have against Him because because of our sinful flesh and its desires. The Cross of Christ eliminated the enmity. Moreover, The work of God through Christ is God’s Free Gift of Love to us.  This gift eliminates the separation of all of humanity from God due to our sin, -> However, it must be appropriated. It is available to all but not given to all. It is a FREE GIFT – But it is one we must seek. 2 Corinthians 9:15"Thanks be unto God for his indescribable (or inexpressible) gift."

Great Sermons of the Bible Acts 2:25ff
The Bible states that the the crucifixion was a predetermined event. Is. 53 God knew that it was going to take more than the continuous offering of the blood of bulls and goats to effect complete cleansing from sin. Heb. 10:4 HE KNEW FOR PERFECT CLEANSING and FORGIVENES TO TAKE PLACE HE WOULD HAVE TO DO IT! HE WOULD HAVE TO PROVIDE THE WAY SO HE STEPPED OUT OF A PERFECT HEAVEN AND INTO THE CORRUPT WORLD OF THORNS AND THISTLES HE CAME TO US – HE CAME TO MEET US WHERE WE LIVE WHERE THEN DO WE PLACE THE BLAME FOR THE CRUCIFIXION? In this message we find Peter looking out into those temple crowds and placing blame weher it should be. He stated, "You crucified Him." But do we place it on the Jews and Romans alone? NO –WE ARE JUST AS GUILTY —On the cross Jesus cried out, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” **But are they the only ones who need forgiveness? --No, all of us do –We have all rebelled and been predisposed to sin against God.

This Life is all about the Next Life – Luke 13:1-5
In this message we explore the issue of placing higher importance on our aspirations on earth without regard to what result that has for eternity. If our hearts are set on the things of this life, health, wealth, prosperity, getting ahead, building a life of comfort and are not set on eternal things such as how we may live to best serve the Lord in our current capacity don’t you think Jesus knows that? We certainly cannot fool Him since He knows what is in the heart of man. John 2:23-25; Luke 12:13-15, 16-21

    Jesus, He’s the Real Thing
Over the years the Coca-Cola corporation has done a great job marketing its product. One of those techniques is to occasional change it's theme. The one theme that has always stuck is 1969's "It's the Real Thing." In this message Pastor Mike uses that theme as an illustration to show that, just as Coca-Cola is the Real Thing amongst the plethora of soda's on the market, so Jesus is the Real Thing for those who seek eternal life! The difference being, Jesus Never Changes! He has always been "The Real Thing!"

Affirming the Faith even in the Midst of Struggle
Sometimes we struggle with many things as we endeavor to live for the Lord. Mark 10:23-31 tells us the answers we need are found in Christ alone; even to seeing God working great things in our life, All we need to do is affirm that He is and always will be Lord in our lives. In doing so we will find that he will fulfill all He promised!
