serve the Springfield community by uplifting Jesus as the one and only Lord of life! Our prayer for all believers is that you will be blessed and strengthened in the Spirit, Grace and Power of the Lord; that through Him you will find a life of abundant peace, spontaneous joy and unending passion. First Baptist is a growing fellowship of Spirit filled believers coming together to declare the awesome glory of the Lord and to celebrate Jesus as King. We study the Word, practice what we learn and in the process grow together. We hope that you will find in us a thriving atmosphere that humbly seeks to be pleasing to God and community!

Meal at 5:30pm and the Movie will follow at 6:15pm
New Bible Studies: Radical Living & Fresh Start
Thursdays at 6:30pm – Music and Youth Pastor. Brian Morgan will lead a Bible Study entitled, “Radical Living!” The study will be ongoing and will cover topics that center on being real, genuine, and honest in a not so Christ-Like world.
Sundays at 6:30pm – The Sr. Pastor, Michael Henderson will start a new class entitled “Fresh Start” for all believers. The class is geared toward all of our new members but will include those who would like a refresher in the foundational Biblical Studies found in Scripture. The is is a must class for all who desire to draw closer to God and understand Him on a deeper level.
Saturday Evening Worship, KLE3 Has Started!!!
Saturday Worship service at 7:00 pm weekly. We call it KLE-3.** Brian Morgan, our Music Minister, will be leading the music which compliments a timely message from Pastor Mike which follows. There is plenty of opportunity to lift praises to God in song and testimony so we are inviting you to come and share what our AWESOME GOD is doing in your life. Please make every opportunity to attend. Many have said they cannot come on Sunday Mornings so this is your opportunity to Worship the King during the evening. We are here to serve the Lord and in doing that serve you! Remember John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him may have eternal life!

2013 is Here! BE REAL – SHOW LOVE is our theme!!
Be Real – Show Love is the new exciting evangelism theme for 2013 at FBC. We will be partaking in many secular activities in the area to share Christ with those who are without Him in the world. This work will begin in the spring and continue throughout the year. We will also be painting the theme on our church trailer to use as an outreach tool to show we are serious. Other things planned are remodeling one of our classrooms with complete missions and outreach themes. It will be here we will pray and report on the progress of getting the gospel into each home in the area. Also, we will host several out reach events through the warmer months that include outdoor big screen Christian film showings for adults and children alike. We are praying for the Lord to raise up laborers in His fields. Please continue to lift up our church that we may see a banner year in God’s ministry at First Baptist Church.
“The Mind of Christ” The Call to Discipleship (ALL MEN WELCOME) Tuesdays 6:15am
The Mind of Christ - is a in-depth discipleship study that introduces believers to a lifelong process through which God will renew their minds and their lives to reflect the image of Christ. Based on Philippians 2:5: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,” the study shows you how Jesus’ mind worked and how the Holy Spirit can teach you to think as He did.
