Pastors Message:

God’s Work – God’s Rewards – 1 Cor. 3

The Bible tells us that when we live a life of obedience to the Lord that we will also receive rewards in eternity (often referred to as “Jewels in Our Crown”). These rewards relate to our eternal work beginning in the coming Millennial Kingdom of Christ (Rev. 20:1-6) and extending for eternity. This world is the Christians training ground for obeying Christ and being Christ-like as we serve Him by putting others first in our lives. Come and hear how you have an opportunity as a believer to enjoy God’s eternal reward forever and ever.

Come Sunday and be blessed!

“Decision”

Free Meal at 5:30 PM. The public is always welcome!!

Due to the recent death of her husband Ilene Connors is forced to raise her son, Jackson, alone. This and the emotional toll of tragically losing his father have caused Jackson to become very angry at the world, even lashing out at friends and family. A final straw is broken when Jackson is expelled from school for cutting class. Ilene has no other choice, but to send Jackson to live with her father, Wyatt, a grandparent Jackson has never met.

After a rough beginning, granddad and grandson begin to bond. Wyatt, a widower himself, uses the opportunity to minister to Jackson. In an attempt to make up for lost time, the two men head out on a hunting trip. A tragic situation forces Jackson to not only evaluate his own life, but to also make some challenging decisions…

Dove Review

This film contains a simple yet perfect example of how to give your life to Christ. As Jackson learns to deal with the loss of his father, his granddad teaches him about the sacrifice that Jesus made for us all so that we could receive His gift of eternal life. Through a few twists and turns, Jackson gives his life to Jesus and receives the strength and help he needs to bring his granddad to safety.

Monthly Events

Saturday Evening Worship, Concerts, & Films , Saturdays at 6:00 pm!

Saturday 7:00 pm weekly Worship and fellowship. Working on Sunday mornings? No problem. There is plenty of opportunity to lift praises to God in song and testimony on Saturday nights! We are inviting you to come, share, and join in in celebrating what our AWESOME GOD is doing in our lives. The Bible tells us we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, (see Heb. 10:25). Please make every opportunity to attend. Sometimes we have a concert, other times a movie, but we always are doing something to lift up the name of Jesus. Many in the community have said they cannot come on Sunday Mornings so this is your opportunity to Worship the King during the evening. We are here to serve the Lord and in doing that serve you! Remember John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him may have eternal life! Find new life in Christ at FBC!
