Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Mike, Senior Pastor

As the primary preaching and teaching Pastor, Mike has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He has served at  First Baptist Church since January 2012. He and his wife Brenna have two daughters, Mika and Gracey. Mike has Pastored in several states and in 1996 was awarded the SBC Baptist Sunday School Board “Smaller Church Pastor of the Year.”  In 2011 he released His first book, “Those Who are Wise Will Shine! Understanding the Work of God in Your Redemption.”  Mike is passionate about the Scripture, God’s promises, obedient service, individual calling’s and winning souls. He received his theological education at Ozark Christian College and Southwest Baptist University.

Pastor Jim serves on several church teams and leads up the trustee’s. He and his wife Debbie have been members at First Baptist since 2006. Jim is currently involved in continuous studies to further his education. He loves cooking out and being involved with the youth and children during activities. 

Bro. Brian Morgan, Minister of Music

Brian Morgan is the newest addition to our staff. He is multi-talented and will also be assuming the duties of Youth Minister and Choir Director. Brian plays several instruments such as, the Piano, Accordion, Organ, and Pipe Organ. Brian also teaches voice lessons. A picture of Brian along with more information will be posted soon.

Willie has been the Church Secretary for several years. Her insight and God given talent for administration has made her an important asset to God’s work and our ministries. She and her husband Larry are very active many areas. Larry is also Chairman of the Deacons and performs a lot of the ongoing maintenance at the Church. We are blessed to have them serve on the FBC team!
